VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Two vehicles crashing in Virginia Beach Friday killing one.
According to police, around 6:30 p.m. Emergency Communications received a call about a crash near the intersection of Dam Neck Road and London Bridge Road.
A minivan was traveling westbound on Dam Neck Road when it rear-ended a Honda Civic. The Honda Civic was forced off the right side of the highway. The minivan ran off the left side of the road and struck several trees in the median.
One man died from his injuries on the scene, a second man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
This case remains under investigation by members of the Virginia Beach Fatal Accident Crash Team.
Harpers Road to London Bridge Road was reopened around 9:30 p.m.
No further information has been released at this time.
