11/6 UPDATE: The Isle of Wight Sheriff's Office has new details about the Oct. 2 Carrollton child abduction and sexual assault case.
According to the sheriff's office, the composite sketch of the suspect does not show the many freckles that the victim said covered the suspect's entire body. Also, they say the suspect wore glasses only part of the time.
The victim has drawn a picture of the clay ornament which she saw on the vehicle's console. It appears to have been made by a child and is little larger than a quarter.
The victim was able to identify the lunchbox that the suspect had by matching it with a lunchbox found at Wal-Mart.
The suspect spoke to the victim about several things that might help someone recognize him:
- He spoke of feeling sorry for himself and said that he did not want to tell his therapist about what he had done.
- He said that his wife had undergone a similar experience when she was a child and that she was okay.
- He said that he was missing work that day just as the victim was missing school.
Authorities feel certain that the suspect was out of a usual routine, especially since he mentioned having a job, and are asking for the public to consider anyone who may have strayed from a daily routine on the morning of October 2, the day of the abduction.
The vehicle driven by the suspect is a two-door Chevrolet, either silver or white. The vehicle may not belong to the suspect.
11/1 UPDATE: The Isle of Wight County Sheriff says they have received over 400 tips since the abduction/assault of an 11-year-old girl on Oct. 2. They are again appealing to the public for information that may lead to an arrest.
The FBI and investigators with with National Center for Missing and Exploited Children are all assisting in the investigation.
The 11-year-old girl said she saw a white house with red shutters that seemed to be abandoned when asked about the first location where she was assaulted.
They are not sure what city she was in at the time. He says learning that location may help them find other pieces of evidence at the scene.
Sheriff Marshall wanted to reassure the public that even though they are a week into this case, the investigation is stronger than ever.10/8 UPDATE: Descriptions of the suspect and the vehicle are now being displayed on electronic billboards. Police say the poster has generated hundreds of tips from the public, which they are investigating.
10/5 UPDATE: Police have released new information about the suspect's vehicle. It is described as a 1995- 2001 silver Chevy Cavalier coupe. The car has a Virginia state inspection sticker. Also, there was not a Chevy banner across the windshield as previously reported.

Officials say they have received 'many tips' and are considering each one.
CARROLLTON -- The manhunt continues for the man police say abducted and sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl waiting at her school bus stop near Carrollton Wednesday.
Isle of Wight County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Kristin Wilda said the student, who attends Westside Elementary School, was abducted around 8:00 a.m. in a Carrollton neighborhood off Route 17 between Brewer's Neck Blvd. and the Crittenden Bridge.
Isle of Wight County Sheriff Mark Marshall held a press conference Thursday afternoon detailing the ongoing investigation.
Sheriff Mark Marshall released a very specific list of the suspect and his vehicle.
The suspect is described as an older, white man, medium build, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 175 pounds, short blonde hair, thin beard with white whiskers in it, no mustache, bushy blonde eyebrows, blue eyes, large full lips, slightly yellowed teeth, wide nose, small hands with short fingers, freckles covering entire face and body, round brown glasses, cut-off jean shorts, tan t-shirt, brown and blue tennis shoes, no tattoos or piercings, nonsmoker and slower in speech.
The vehicle is described as a silver Chevy Cavalier coupe (1995-2001), with a Virginia State inspection sticker, black and gray interior, leather or vinyl seats, manual roll-up windows, older inside with a cracked dash. There were 3 handmade clay sculptures that appeared to have been made by children and minor clutter in the interior, including some balled-up paper in the back.
'He spent four hours yesterday away from his normal activities,' said Marshall. 'Someone should have noticed his absence.'
According to the victim, the man expressed remorse for what he was doing. Marshall said the suspect told the victim he would bring her back home, and he did.
The man also referenced that he had a wife.
Marshall explained during the press conference that the case involved much more than just fondling.
'We need to get this guy.'
After the suspect let the girl go, police say she called her parents and was taken to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters for treatment.
Marshall said the girl is still recovering with her family.
Isle of White County Schools Superintendent A. Katrise Perera says the school system is a family, so the abduction was very personal.
Perera says they have been working with deputies who will be patrolling around bus stops in the county. They're also increasing 'visibility' near the schools.
Perera says parents need to talk to their children about being observant when they're alone, especially when walking to school or the bus stop.
The Federal Bureau of Investigations is now assisting in the case.
