PORTSMOUTH--The Navy is investigating the death of a sailor aboard USS Harry S. Truman, which is currently berthed in the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
The sailor has been identified as Seaman Kevin Deshazo of Granbury, Texas. The 20-year old was found aboard ship Wednesday morning, the Navy said.
The carrier is undergoing maintenance at the Portsmouth yard, which is expected to be complete this summer.
Deshazo was an operations specialist who joined the Navy in 2009. He reported aboard the aircraft carrier in 2010.
