Two F/A-18 Hornet pilots from Hampton Roads will take part in the flyover. They're from VFC-12 Ambush, a reserve squadron based at NAS Oceana.

Not only that, the pilots are graduates of the schools who are facing off on the field! Commanding Officer Adam Stephens went to Tulane while Executive Officer Elliott Shoup is a Virginia Tech grad.

The Military Bowl will be held December 27 at 2 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland. The game will be televised on ESPN.
