NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — If you see a lot of helicopter activity or hear machine-gun fire near Fort Eustis, don't worry! It's just a drill.
Military officials say helicopter operations and simulated machine gun fire training is planned at Fort Eustis from June 15 through June 29, 2021.
The training could produce loud noise in communities on and near the military installation.
The training will not impact Fort Eustis' entry points or customer service areas.
