NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) -- If you hear gunshots and see emergency responders near Fort Eustis, don't be alarmed.
The base will be conducting an active shooter exercise over the next several days.
The exercise begins Monday and will run through Friday. Residents at the base may hear simulated rounds being fired during the exercise.
