VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — An all-clear has been given after a possible bomb threat was reported at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek on Thursday morning, the U.S. Navy said.
A spokesperson for the military base said reports of the threat came in shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday.
"Everyone is asked to remain clear of the bridge area on the base," the spokesperson said as security conducted the investigation.
At 12:11 p.m., security completed its investigation and the all-clear was given. There is no word at this time on what may have sparked the threat.
Normal base operations have resumed, the base's spokesperson tells 13News Now.
