NCIS
CBS, 8 ET/PT
Considering NCIS’s status as one of TV’s most popular shows, it’s likely that no departure this season has viewers more stirred up than Michael Weatherly’s exit from the series in Tuesday's season finale, “Family First.” Feel free to parse that title, and the return guest appearance by Robert Wagner as DiNozzo’s dad, to see if it provides a clue as to what will send Weatherly’s DiNozzo on his way. Alive, one hopes, if only for his fans' sake.
Coupled
Fox, 9 ET/PT
It’s an unusual Tuesday for Fox, to say the least. It opens the evening with an interview special starring Fox News's Megyn Kelly — a link to its sister network Fox generally avoids, as the connection's likely to offend as many viewers as it attracts. Fox then moves on to this attempt to launch a dating show, a genre that hasn’t produced many hits since The Bachelor, with this series from Survivor’s Mark Burnett. A dozen women will try to find love on a Caribbean island in a show with one new twist: The contestants will be wildly sending texts, which will pop up on our screens throughout the show.
Chicago Med/Chicago Fire
NBC, 9 ET/PT
Two in Dick Wolf’s seemingly endless supply of Chicago series end their seasons. But never fear: They, and more of their progeny, will return come fall.
