VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) - Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story is getting a new leader.
Local news media report that the base will hold a change of command ceremony at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
Capt. Daniel J. Senesky is taking over for Capt. Frank Hughlett, who became the third commander of the base in February 2013. Hughlett is retiring from the Navy after 30 years in the service.
Senesky was most recently a member of the Chief of Naval Operations Navy Asia Pacific Advisory Group.
