PONTIAC, Mich. -- Awoman's mummified body was found in the backseat of her car, parked in the garage of her home in Michigan.
Authorities say they believe the woman died at least six years ago, but no one knew since her bills were on automatic payment.
Investigators say the home recently went into foreclosure and her remains were found by a contractor working on a hole in the roof.
Neighbors said the woman traveled a lot and some of them believed she had abandoned her house or returned to her native Germany.
