GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. (WVEC) -- A man is in jail after allegedly stabbing two people in Gloucester County.
Gloucester County Sheriff's Office patrol units responded to a Shell gas station located at 2347 George Washington Memorial Highway on March 27 after receiving a report of people bleeding in the station's parking lot. Upon arrival, deputies found two bleeding victims that were complaining of being stabbed. Deputies administered first aid to the victims who said they were in an altercation at a home on Perrin Creek Road. Both said they were attacked by a man named Chandler Richardson. The victims were then taken to the hospital.
Patrol units responded to a home in the 2300 block of Perrin Creek Road to find Richardson. He was detained as investigators executed a search warrant and processed the crime scene. Richardson, 20, of Hayes, was then arrested. He is charged with two counts of malicious wounding.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing.
