VIRGINIA BEACH - The former president of a little league bingo in Va. Beach has been indicted on 13 felony embezzlement charges.
David Allen Zimmerman, 45, allegedly embezzled more than $8,000 from Plaza Little League Bingo between May 10, 2008 and October 31, 2009.
Zimmerman served as the league's president and game manager for at least six years, according to the Commonwealth's Attorney office.
A Special Agent with the Office of Charitable Gaming presented the indictment to the grand jury on February 22.
Each offense carries a maximum of 20 years in the penitentiary.
