YORKTOWN, Va. — Seventy-five people took the Oath of Allegiance to the United States and became new citizens on Thursday.
The naturalization ceremony at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown started with a patriotic procession. After taking the oath, everyone was presented with their certificate of naturalization.
"It's like, finally, it's happening because I've been waiting for quite a few years," said Ke Wang.
Added Jing Wen: "Now we are finally on the same path and it has been a while. We finally get it."
The Museum of the American Revolution offers free citizenship classes to help people prepare for the naturalization test. The next course begins in September.
