YORK COUNTY, Va. — A man has been arrested in connection to a stabbing on Wednesday, the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office said.
Around 10:40 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of The Council North.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a 22-year-old man suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Deputies investigating the incident identified 38-year-old Marcelino Hernandez as a suspect. He was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding, a felony, and is currently being held at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.
