WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WVEC) -- The City of Williamsburg announced its brand-new top cop.
Sean Dunn will take over as the city's new police chief. Right now, he serves that role in Martinsville. Before that, Dunn was a police officer in Portsmouth.
Chief Dunn officially starts his job in Williamsburg later this month.
He's taking over for Dave Sloggie, who retired in December. Deputy Police Chief Andrew Barker has been serving as interim chief since the start of the year.
