Man arrested for threatening Williamsburg business

A man was fired from his job, and the police arrested and charged him after he made threats.

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Williamsburg Police Department arrested a man on June 11 after he threatened to bomb or damage his former job.

Around 9:30 a.m. officers were sent to The Cheese Shop, located in 400 block of Duke of Gloucester Street after 35-year-old Tijuan Lee Jones made a threat toward the business. 

Officers found Jones of James City County walking in the area.

Police arrested and charged him with Virginia Code 18.2-83, threatening to bomb or damage a building.
