HENRICO, Va. (AP) - A fire official says at least a dozen boats were destroyed in a fire at a Henrico County marina.
Media outlets report that the fire broke out at Friday morning at the Richmond Yacht Basin along the James River.
WWBT-TV reports that Fire Capt. Taylor Goodman says that 12 to 15 boats were destroyed in the blaze and the building collapsed at the marina in southeastern Henrico near the Chesterfield border.
WRIC-TV reports that marina president Max Walraven says people who were on boats were able to get off safely, but some burning boats drifted down the river.
It's not yet clear what started the blaze.
