PARKSLEY, Va. — Several fire crews along Virginia's Eastern Shore spent hours battling fires in Parksley overnight.
Firefighters were first called to a garage fire Thursday night, in which they spent several hours on the scene. Then, around midnight, they returned to fight a brush fire along Lankford Highway. As crews were clearing up from the brush fire, crews were then called to respond to a nearby car accident.
Crews declared all scenes clear around 3 a.m. Friday.
Fire stations called to these incidents include Bloxom, Parksley, Tasley, Onancock, Atlantic, New Church, and Saxis.
