CHESTERFIELD, Va. — The missing 11-year-old girl from Chesterfield has been found safe, Virginia State Police announced Tuesday.
The Virginia State Police issued a Missing Endangered Child Alert on behalf of the Chesterfield County Police Department on Monday night around 11:05 p.m.
The Chesterfield County Police Department was looking for 11-year-old Isabelle Renee Pittera. She answers to the nickname, "Izzy."
Isabelle was last seen wearing a plaid skirt, tye-dye shirt and grey tennis shoes. She was further identified by bug bite scars on her forearms.
She was last seen at 5:30 p.m. on Rockmont Court in North Chesterfield.
Pittera was presumed to be traveling alone on foot.
Her disappearance posed a credible threat to her health and safety as determined by the investigating agency.
