GLOUCESTER, Va. (WVEC) – Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle accident Friday involving a Gloucester County Public Utilities truck.
According to a Facebook post from Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue hey got the call for the accident on Hickory Fork Road at around 1 p.m.
Both drivers were trapped inside their vehicles. Once extricated, both were transported to local hospitals.
One of the vehicles was carrying cans of paint, and the photos provided by Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue showed a large amount of it spilled.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
