VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- A Richmond-based donut shop will be opening a new location in Virginia Beach, this winter.
The Sugar Shack will be located at 3273 Shore Dr.
The first Sugar Shack Donuts & Coffee opened in June 2013. The company now has seven locations, along with a mobile donut truck. Four other locations will open later this year, including the one in Virginia Beach.
Each Sugar Shack location has its own unique story, according the Sugar Shack website. The company also prides itself on the fact that every location is locally owned and operated.
The new location posted to Facebook that crews are currently hand making tables from fallen trees from the recent storms in Richmond for the store.
