SUFFOLK, Va. — 3 people are displaced from their home in Suffolk after their home caught fire Tuesday night.
Dispatchers sent Suffolk Fire & Rescue crews to the scene at 11:11 p.m. and they arrived at the house on N Capital Street four minutes later.
The fire was erupting from the back of the single-story house. Firefighters attacked the fire from the inside while others searched the residence.
Suffolk police provided scene and traffic control during the incident.
The fire was reported under control at 11:31 p.m.
Three adults have been displaced from their home and are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross. There were no injuries to the residents or firefighters.
The Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
