Found: Poquoson police say woman missing for more than month was out of state

Officers said they located Angelia Marie Vasquez out of state after getting a tip. The last time she'd been seen in the city was in March 2020.

POQUOSON, Va. — The Poquoson Police Department said it found a woman who'd been missing for more than a month after it got a tip on a police department social media account.

Officers said 37-year-old Angelia Marie Vasquez was out of state and safe.

The last time anyone had seen her in the city was on Sunday, March 22. Vasquez was around her home in the 1000 block of Poquoson Ave. that day. It was her family that reported her missing.
