HATTERAS, N.C. (WVEC) -- Captain Myjestic "Jessie" Anderson, a cast member of the National Geographic Channel's hit documentary series, "Wicked Tuna -- Outer Banks" will not be returning to the reality show for a new season.

Anderson served as co-captain on the Reel Action and its' all-female crew for Season 2 of Wicked Tuna -- Outer Banks.

"I fish for funds and fun, not fame," said Anderson. "After all of the drama last season on the Reel Action, I've concluded that it's just not for me."

The crew of Reel Action finished second to last in the season's tuna fishing competition, by only catching one fish all season.

Anderson is choosing to focus on her Carolina Girl Charter Fishing business and making herself available for personal appearances and fishing seminars.

Just last week, Captain Taylor McLaughlin, a cast member of the "Wicked Tuna" show, turned himself in to the Perquimans County Sheriff's Office and was charged with misdemeanor assault.
