KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. -- A woman sent NBC Charlotte photos of a shark that was caught in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina.
Anna Korman is vacationing with her family from Richmond, Virginia. She says around 10:30 Friday morning a family member saw from their balcony that a fishman caught a shark.
She says the fisherman was fishing from the shore. The shark is about 6.5 feet long and was released back into the ocean. The shark did not meet North Carolina guidelines to keep it. Click here for the NC shark fishing guide.
