ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. — A homicide investigation is underway after a man is found dead in a vehicle, according to a press release from the Elizabeth City Police Department (ECPD).
Officers were dispatched to the Oak Grove Avenue area around 11:45 a.m. Monday for reports of a man in "suspicious condition" in a vehicle.
When officers arrived at the scene in the 100 block of Oak Grove Ave, they found 21-year-old Caleb Jeremiah Bowe dead in the vehicle.
