JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WVEC) -- Officials in James City County say there were no injuries following a fire at a home on Argall Town Lane on Tuesday.
Firefighters say on Nov. 8, around 5 p.m., the homeowner was in their kitchen when smoke alarms alerted of a fire. The residents found smoke and fire in a storage area of the garage.
Battalion Chief Alton Catlett says fire units arrived and quickly contained and extinguished the fire. Damage to the home was estimated at $20,000.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
