Shooting in Virginia Beach sends man to hospital in critical condition

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Virginia Beach police are investigating a shooting that sent a victim to a Chesapeake hospital on Friday.

The police department said they got a call from the Chesapeake Police Department for a walk-in gunshot wound victim at Chesapeake Regional Hospital. Investigators later found the crime scene in the 6500 block of College Park Square and determined the shooting happened around 1:15 a.m. 

The victim, an adult man, is in critical condition. 

The case is ongoing and no arrests have been made as of this time.
