VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Naval Air Station Ocean Air Show will be taking over the skies above Virginia Beach Sept. 21 and 22, but the event will also be impacting the roads too.
From Sept. 19-22, London Bridge Road from International Parkway to Central Drive will be closed in both directions.
On Thursday, Sept. 19 that closure will be in place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Friday, Sept. 20, the closure will be in place from 2:30 - 5:30 p.m.
And on Saturday, Sept. 21, and Sunday, Sept. 22, the closure will be in place from 2-5 p.m.
Another thing organizers of the Air Show want people to note: all attendees of the air show over the age of 18 must bring a physical photo ID to get access to the air show. Bringing ID and having it ready will help decrease traffic at the event.
