Virginia Beach Courthouse evacuated after bomb threat

The courthouse was evacuated for at least a half hour on Tuesday afternoon after receiving a bomb threat.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office posted on X on Tuesday at 2 p.m. that they were evacuating the Virginia Beach Courthouse at 2425 Nimmo Parkway after receiving a bomb threat.

At 2:33 p.m., they posted the courthouse was cleared and was being swept by explosives-detection K9 units.
