VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Every year, people celebrating Halloween decorate their porches, lawns and front doors to spread spooky cheer. Some go for witches and spiderwebs, others might create an array of bones and tombstones.
One Virginia Beach couple, however, goes all out on the inflatables; they put out 84, to be exact.
Elaine Lombardi and her husband celebrate their anniversary on October 31. They said Halloween has always been a big thing for them.
When they began putting out inflatable decorations, they started with one little dragon. Now, in 2023, they have 84 inflatables to view! They range from the typical spooky Halloween figures, to fan-favorite cartoons and characters.
The couple said their 7-year-old grandson is the "inflatables manager." He usually starts them up when he gets home from school.
