VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Virginia Beach Police Department was responding to a barricaded person in the area near JEB Little Creek Thursday afternoon.
The incident was happening in the 2100 block of Lake Smith Court, which is right off Shore Drive.
According to police, the barricade situation is over and the subject was found dead from "an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound," Thursday night.
