Two arrested after fatal Virginia Beach Oceanfront shooting

One person died, and another had serious injuries. A 20-year-old and an 18-year-old have been arrested and charged.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Two people have been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

On May 2, around 11:30 p.m., officers were sent to the intersection of 11th Street and Pacific Avenue for a shooting.  

On the scene, officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. 

One of the victims, 33-year-old Terrence Jerell Houston of Newport News, died on the scene. The second victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Virginia Beach police arrested 20-year-old Carson Carnell Davis Jr of Virginia Beach and charged him with murder, felonious assault, and 2 counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Zaymi Nicole Lewis, 18, of Virginia Beach has been charged with a felony, concealed weapon and accessory after the fact.

No further information about this shooting has been released at this time.
