VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Three adults were displaced after a house fire in the 1000 block of Gauguin Drive in Virginia Beach on Saturday night.
Virginia Beach Fire Department crews were dispatched to the fire at 9:47 p.m., according to Virginia Beach Fire Department Public Information Officer Barbara Morrison. When crews arrived at 9:49, heavy smoke and flames were observed from the fence. Wind quickly spread the fire to the house. There was also exterior damage to another home next door.
There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians. The American Red Cross has been contacted to assist with temporary housing.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
