VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A teenage girl is in the hospital after she was shot in Virginia Beach Saturday evening.
Virginia Beach Police say they received a call just before 5:30 p.m. about a gunshot wound victim in the 700 block of South Military Highway.
Police say the 16-year-old girl was transported to a local hospital. She is expected to survive, according to police.
