VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — UPDATE: Virginia Beach officials updated Tuesday evening to say 911 issues have been resolved, according to T-Mobile's management team.

T-Mobile customers in Virginia Beach may have issues reaching 911 Tuesday afternoon due to a vendor outage, city officials said.

The city asked T-Mobile customers experiencing intermittent issues reaching 911 to call the non-emergency number at 757-385-5000. Officials didn't share a timeline of how long the issues would last.

People can also reach 311 via an online chat portal on the city's website.
