VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- The Green Run Homes Association closed the Clubhouse Pool after people said they were shocked in the water at a party on Saturday.
The association told residents through an online portal that people cleared out of the pool immediately and that lifeguards started assessing and caring for those affected until paramedics arrived.
The online announcement, which posted on Sunday, said that pool management and GRHA were working to investigate the matter and to take any necessary "corrective steps."

The association said it would not respond to questions on social media. It invited people to attend the monthly board of directors meeting on July 25 at 7 p.m. at the GRHA Clubhouse.
