VIRGINIA BEACH-- Police were on the scene of a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian Friday evening.
The accident took place in the 4300 block of Bonney Road around 6 p.m.
A pedestrian was crossing Bonney Road when he was struck by a small sedan that was travelling eastbound at a slow speed.
The man is in stable condition at the hospital. His inhuries are not expected to be life threatening.
The driver of the vehicle was a juvenile and was given a summons for violation of his learners permit.
