VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcycle in Virginia Beach on Sunday night.
The Virginia Beach Police Department said the crash happened along General Booth Boulevard near Croatan Road. The call came in around 8:44 p.m. for a single crash involving a motorcycle.
When officers arrived, they pronounced the motorcycle driver, 42-year-old Christopher Wright, dead at the scene.
That Sunday night, General Booth Boulevard was closed between Croatan Road and Ocean Breeze Parkway in both directions.
According to VBPD, their Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the incident.
