VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A man and woman have been charged in connection to a shooting, the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) said.
On June 12, Virginia Beach police responded to a ShotSpotter alert at the 600 block of Aubrey Drive. When officers arrived, they found one person injured from a gunshot wound in their car.
According to police, two suspects were identified as Deodris Cain, 37, and Tyisha Davis, 39. They were both arrested on June 13.
Cain was charged with attempting malicious wounding, four counts of conspiracy, maliciously throwing a missile at an occupied vehicle, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Davis was charged with maliciously shooting at an occupied vehicle and conspiracy.
