VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- A grand jury indicted Jacquan Leeonte’ Wilson, 18, in connection with the killing of 18-year-old Bryant Cueto which took place in May.
Wilson, who lives in the 800 block of Harbour North Drive, Chesapeake, faces charges of First Degree Felony Murder, Robbery, and Use of a Firearm.
Prosecutors said Wilson and 19-year-old Andarion McInnis shot Cueto in the parking lot of Applebee's on General Booth Boulevard.
Wilson was a minor at the time of the crime, but his case has been certified to Circuit Court where he will be tried as an adult.
Wilson has a bond hearing set for October 6 and a trial tentatively scheduled for October 25.
A judge denied bond for McInnis in June. He faces charges of Murder and Robbery.
According to court documents, the shooting was tied to a drug deal involving Xanax pills. Cueto's friend told police that Cueto wanted to sell pills to the McInnis and Wilson.
