The FBI confirms it is assisting Virginia Beach police in their search for Bellamy, providing investigative and technical assistance through its participation in the Tidewater Violent Crimes Task Force. Virginia Beach Police remain the lead agency in the search.

Police said Bellamy's disappearance is considered suspicious because it is unlike her to be away from her infant children and not show up for work. She is believed to have been abducted and in danger.

Anyone with any information on Bellamy Gamboa's disappearance is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
