VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — In Virginia Beach, the father accused of abducting three of his children and stabbing his ex-wife and another child was back in court Friday morning.
Dana Plummer is accused in the Amber Alert case that turned deadly back on August 15. The alleged abduction ended in a car crash that killed his one-year-old baby and injured his two other children.
Plummer had an attorney review hearing Friday, which is to ensure that he is either working to hire an attorney, or to appoint a public defender.
Plummer maintained his innocence in a jailhouse interview with 13News Now last week.
He faces felony child abduction, aggravated malicious wounding, among other charges.
