VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- A family of four and their two pets were able to get out safely from inside their burning home on Monday morning.
Emergency dispatchers tell us the call came in just after 5 a.m.
It took firefighters three minutes to get to the burning home that's located on Inlynnview Road, just off of Great Neck Road in Virginia Beach.
Crews took 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
It's not clear at this time how the fire started.
