VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Dana Plummer, the father who allegedly abducted three of his children and stabbed his ex-wife and a young girl multiple times, is back in Virginia Beach ahead of a court hearing on Thursday.
The abduction, connected to the Amber Alert that was issued in the early hours of Thursday, Aug. 15, ended in a crash in Prince George's County, Maryland that killed 16-month-old Zariyah Plummer and hospitalized two of her siblings.

Plummer was also hospitalized after the crash but was booked into the Prince George's County Correctional Center in Maryland after his release. After a preliminary hearing in Prince George's court, he waived his right to an extradition hearing. Virginia Beach officials confirm he is now in their custody.
Plummer faces charges of malicious wounding, parental abduction, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and domestic abuse. Plummer could face numerous years in prison, according to a legal analyst.
The Virginia Beach Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney confirms Plummer is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday morning.
