VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Two pedestrians are in critical condition after they were hit by a vehicle in Virginia Beach Tuesday night, police confirmed.
The Virginia Beach Police Department said it happened at the intersection of Virginia Beach Boulevard and Little Neck Road around 5:23 p.m. The driver stayed on the scene for the investigation, and police have not yet said whether or not there will be charges.
At the time of the crash, the roadway was reduced to one eastbound lane between Little Neck Road and King Richard Drive. It has since reopened.
VBPD's Traffic Safety Unit is continuing to investigate the crash.
