VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The City of Virginia Beach gave updates on where construction stands for the Atlantic Surf Park project as of Tuesday.
Crews have been working to build the surf park and entertainment venue for months now and have previewed what it could look like once it's finished.
The park has a surf lagoon, an entertainment venue area for shopping and parking garages.
The surf lagoon is 46% complete; parking garages are 68% complete; the entertainment venue is 29% complete; and the retail area is 20% complete.
The goal is to have everything finished by the summer of 2025.
