9 people displaced after fire at Virginia Beach mobile home

The fire was put out by 12:44 p.m., and no injuries were reported. However, six adults and three kids were displaced from the single-wide mobile home.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Nine people are without a place to stay after a fire broke out at a Virginia Beach mobile home, the Virginia Beach Fire Department (VBFD) confirmed Thursday. 

According to VBFD, it happened in the 100 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard. That's west of Birdneck Road in Seatack. 

The fire was put out by 12:44 p.m., and no injuries were reported. However, six adults and three kids were displaced from the single-wide mobile home. Red Cross assistance was requested. 

The fire department is still working to figure out what caused the fire.
