SUFFOLK, Va. — A woman went to the hospital early Friday morning after she was shot in Suffolk, the Suffolk Police Department confirmed.
The department said around 1:45 a.m., somebody called reporting the shooting on the 100 block of Church Street. The woman had serious injuries, but is currently in stable condition.
Details are limited, but Suffolk police are investigating the situation. There's no word on what led to the shooting or any possible suspects at this time.
