SUFFOLK, Va. — One person was displaced after a kitchen fire inside a home, Suffolk Fire & Rescue said.
Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to a fire in the 300 block of East Washington Street on Friday. Crews arrived and found flames coming from a kitchen in an apartment on the third floor.
No one was hurt but one resident was displaced.
Officials said the Red Cross is assisting.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
